Tasting notes of winery's winemaker

This wine is the result of a careful selection of the best grapes of the Tempranillo varietal from our estate, from vines that are over half a century old. The grapes are handled with the utmost care and aged meticulously in French and American oak barrels.

Attractive cherry red in colour, of medium-high intensity. Clear and bright.

A complex wine to the nose that develops with elegance, featuring red and dark fruits with traces minerals conveying the aroma of the terroi. Outstanding in this phase is its complex aroma, intense yet elegant, combining spicy aromas from the foothills followed by fruity aromas of mandarin peel and fruit preserves, aromatic grass (lavender), cocoa and a hint of milky coffee.

The entry is potent, fresh and flavoursome, pleasant on the mid-palate, displaying a well-rounded and velvety texture, with very well integrated tannins, and leaving a very well balanced acid aftertaste. The afternose is similar to the first impression: fruit, cocoa, toffee, traces of minerals, giving way to a lingering sensation of a very enduring wine.
