Appearance: Intense cherry red.

Nose: Well balanced aromas of fruit and wood, where the hint of vanilla is mixed with ripe fruit and berries. A very slight touch of leather and licorice, results from the french oak and the variety.

Taste: Soft texture but it fills the palate with balanced flavors, including fine tannins. Elegant finish and a long after-taste.

Pairing: It goes well with cold meats, pasta dishes and spicy stews. Particularly perfect with barbecues, grilled, roasted suckling lamb, roast suckling pig, stews of red meat and delicate meat.
