Its colour is cherry red with a violet rim, clean and bright.
In nose, it evokes clear aromas of red fruits (cherry, raspberry and blackberry), lactic,
minerals (highlighting the slate) and a light touch of licorice.
In the mouth it is fragrant, fresh, with good body and structure; unctuous without edges and with good
acidity. This wine is powerful, highlighting the ripe fruit wrapped in fine minerals, with mature tannins leaving a long and warm finish.
This wine is born in the vineyards on the slopes of the Valdeorras Valley, where the Menc?a vines have an average age of 50 years.
