A lighter styled wine, the Amadé is crimson red in colour with a slight purple rim, indicating the youth of the wine. The nose is filled with aromatic pepper aromas, ripe plums, savoury biscuits, spices and subtle smoky aromas. The rustic palate has enticing white pepper, ripe plums, wild berries and earthy characteristic. The long, full finish displays plums and smokiness. Silky soft tannins and supple acidity lends structure and balance. It can be served slightly chilled. This wine drinks well now and can be aged for 4?5 years
