The first Bordeaux blend made in South Africa this, our flagship wine, bears the qualities of a French classic.

The Reserve 2011 is the epitome of elegance and balance. Dark ruby red in colour, the wine displays striking aromatic elements of cedar, fresh red and black berries along with the characteristic Welgemeend forest floor and eucalyptus elements. The palate echoes the cedar and black and red berries elements followed by forest floor and ending with a lovely aftertaste of berries balanced by the warm spicy barrel elements and a long silky dry finish and soft tannins.

Elegant and classic, this wine will age for a further 5-7 years.
