The Laurona 2008 has a deep red-purple colour characteristic of its relative youth. Its penetrating bouquet is complex and intense. It initially brings to mind blackcurrants, plums, blackberries and toasted nuts. Little by little, its complexity grows as the wine breathes, and penetrating spice notes appear (vanilla, cinnamon...) as well as a pleasing floral background (violets). Its palate is opulent, velvety and lingering. Its abundant and balanced tannin ensures magnificent aging over the next ten years.
